Payment is requested at the time of the session and can be made by cash or EFTPOS.

REBATES

Through Medicare, clients are entitled to 10 sessions per calendar year, with a rebate of $92.90 per session.  If you wish to claim a rebate through Medicare  you will need a referral from your GP, including a Mental Health Care Plan.

Please bring a copy of your Mental Health Care Plan with you when you come to your initial counselling session. You will also need your Medicare Card.  Your Medicare rebate can be processed through EFTPOS at the end of each session.

PLEASE NOTE: through the EFTPOS machine, Medicare will only transfer your rebate into a savings account (not a credit account).

If you have appropriate private health fund extras cover, you may be able to claim a rebate for your sessions (rebate rates vary according to the individual fund).  Unfortunately my EFTPOS machine does not process Health Fund rebates – you will need to do this yourself with the receipt provided.
